Weekend. Where to go now?
In less than 2 days, the areas near Saigon are good choices.
If vung Tau is a popular tourist destination, Long Hai is not the sea that many people know. However, Vung Tau weekend is suitable for families and it is too crowded, so Long Hai is a great idea for young people.
Just over 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, traveling to Long Hai is very convenient, you can go by car, motorbike or boat. I especially prefer motorcycles.
It takes about 3 hours to get there. The path is easy and very nice, you can catch cherry blossoms starting to hatch or green rice field on the way. You just google map.
Here you can explore some places such as: Long Hai Beach, Dinh Co Mountain, Minh Dam Mountain, Sweet Water Pass, Truc Lam Chan Temple (also known as Monkey Temple), if have time you can visit Ho Coc, Ho Tram lake. Some pictures are recorded:
***Wake up is you were able to watch the dawn. A peaceful, beautiful scene. A great place to hide (get out of the smoke, the noise, and hot from the city)
Exploring the forest, Chan Nguyen Pagoda
***You should not be angry with these wild monkeys. Although I find them quite gentle
A beautiful picture at the Ho Coc - it really virtual
Both sides of the road pretty much cherry blossoms
Here you can buy seafood at Long Hai market. Not even morning or afternoon seafood here is still fresh and cheap. Charcoal stove, table and chairs, cooking utensils you can rent them nearby. A seafood dinner on the beach is really fascinating
Pictures are not beautiful. But they are delicious
On the way of the city, remember to visit "Banh Canh Long Huong" at 11 Cach Mang Thang 8 street, Ba Ria Town . I do not know how to write "Banh Canh" in english. It like the photo below
Say goodbye Long Hai, we return to the city
