3 young college students invented a drinking straw that can detect the presence of date rape drugs in a drink.
They have invented a way to protect themselves and countless others from something horrible that is more prevalent than we all realize.
Sadly, date rape is grossly under reported. When a victim does have the courage to report they are often portrayed as though it was consensual due to the circumstances.
If you are ever a victim please keep in mind, if you have the courage to tell someone, you may very well prevent it from happening to another person.
