Although Catrin refers to a well-dressed, elegant man, when talking about the Day of the Dead, Catrin is the male character who accompanies the Catrina. Like her, the man wears makeup with skull motifs, although colorful elements are also often added. In the firts photo I am showing you, the catrin wears a hat that is typical of the Colima region in Mexico.
