Investing precious years in earning that medical degree is so stupid, a man in northern India found a easier way to treat patients and has been successfully earning a life through it. Yea, this man, who couldn't complete his graduation has been treating patients as a qualified doctor and has been very successful for the past 9 years.

It all started when Man Singh Baghel had almost quit his studies and was on a vacation to near by town. Accidently he got his hands on a medical degree of one Dr Manoj Kumar. Baghel soon came up with an idea and soon forged the degree with his picture on it and started practicing medicine. His crime came to light when a hospital employed him. One of his patients at his new work place was suffering from a heart ailment and Baghel's treatment made his condition worse. Soon many other complaints from other patients followed which made the hospital authorities check the credibility of their doctor and soon he was arrested.
It is sad that his identity went undetected for the better part of a decade where he estimatedly treated around 90,000 patients. This is the dark truth of many doctors in India. There are many students who get into esteemed medical institutes laying huge sum of money to study medicine. These students are neither interested nor are capable, but still end up earning a degree just because their parents can afford it. Imagine the plight of the patients when such doctor's treat them.
To recover the money they have invested in their studies, they start prescribing unnecessary tests and end up treating the patients for ailments that they never suffered from. I remember a distant relative once consulted a known doctor at his cousins place and was told that he had a block which if not operated within few hours would lead to death. The man was not that rich and had no one to care for. He was also scared of the procedure, so he left it on god. It has been 5 years and that man is absolutely fine with no sign of any ailment, let alone heart. Imagine what if he would have given in to his doctors prescription and ended up having a surgery which was not even required. Scary right???
