Those days were awesome. Dirty clothes, messy hairs, neighbors complaining, laughter, incomplete homework, angry teachers. I can never forget my childhood where everyone my mum met had something to complain about. I was a brat and my mum was fed up of me. She never thought I would be this responsible mum that I am today.

Kids our age had nothing to do at home. We would wait for the clock to tick 4 so that we could rush to play. Endless games wouldn't stop till some mom would shout her lung out. Contrary to what it was before, kids now rarely step out of the house. All they need is a phone, an iPad or at least a television set. They can spend an entire day sitting on the couch with any of these electronic devices in their hand.
The clothes are never dirty and the hairs are never messy. Neighbors hardly know that these kids exist. Plucking the mangoes, breaking neighbors window planes, kidnapping neighbors dogs are not fascinating to these kids.
Parents are over protective, so much that their kids have never had the scratch while playing. These kids don't know what pain is. They are so protected that a slightest of pain would make them bed ridden for days.
The future really scares me. I hope kids and parents realise who important childhood is. These special memories would stay with you for life. I cannot imagine my kids telling their children their childhood stories about how they crossed a level in the game when they were that age. 馃檮
