I've been sharing gameplays of free weapon skins from Blood Strike and Call of Duty Mobile for quite a long time now, but this time, I'm doing things a little differently. I didn't spend any real money trying to get this weapon skin, but at the same time, I can't exactly call it free either. I simply got lucky with the opportunity I was given, and I made sure to take advantage of it.
Blood Strike recently introduced an Evo skin for the SVD Sniper, and honestly, the SVD is one of the Snipers I've always found interesting in this game. It's relatively easy to handle, has a really fast ADS speed, and its shots feel more precise compared to some of the other Snipers. However, I wasn't actually planning on getting the Evo SVD, nor was I expecting to get it. I already knew that getting an Evo weapon would probably require a lot of coins, and I wasn't ready to go that far. Instead, I decided to aim for something I believed was much more achievable, which was the Ultra Galil. The Galil is actually a weapon I've had my eyes on for a while now. I even made some content with it a few days ago, so when I noticed that an Ultra version of the gun was available as one of the bonus rewards in this draw, I immediately became interested.
Blood Strike introduced a bunch of special cards that players could earn by completing different tasks. These cards could then be used to participate in the lucky draw, giving players a chance to spin the draw up to 40 times without having to spend their own coins directly. So I started completing those tasks and collecting as many cards as I could, hoping that maybe, just maybe, I would get something useful from all those spins. During the spins, I was actually getting quite lucky because I managed to earn around 380 coins from the draw. After finishing my spins, I went into the reward section to see what I could do with the coins I had collected. That's when I saw the full list of rewards, including the Evo SVD Sniper and the Ultra Galil, along with the amount of coins required to purchase each one. The Evo SVD immediately caught my attention, but when I saw the price, I knew there was no way I was getting it. That thing was sitting at around 1,400 coins, which meant I would have to do a whole lot more spinning just to reach that amount. Then I looked a little further and saw the Ultra Galil sitting there for just 350 coins. I literally had more than enough.
Without wasting any time, I bought the Ultra Galil immediately. I had no reason to keep those coins sitting there when I already knew exactly what I wanted. After purchasing the skin, I had about 30 coins left, so I decided to spend the remaining coins on whatever I could find in the reward section just to exhaust them completely. 😂 And just like that, I finally had the Ultra Galil. After getting the skin, I didn't want to take it straight into Battle Royale without testing it first, so I decided to use it in a Hot Zone match. As soon as the match started, I took some time to inspect the weapon properly because I wanted you guys to see the full beauty of this thing. And honestly, this Galil has a very different vibe. It gives me this futuristic secret agent kind of feeling. The combination of white, green and gold makes the weapon stand out without making it look unnecessarily flashy. Blood Strike didn't cover the entire gun with glowing lights or throw a bunch of random colours on it, and I actually like that decision. Sometimes a weapon doesn't need to look like a Christmas tree to be attractive. 😂
The overall combat design is what really makes this skin beautiful. It looks like something a futuristic secret agent would pull out before going on a mission. The colours work together really well, and the gun still maintains that serious military appearance while having a futuristic touch. Then I checked the ion sight. The sight is extremely clean, and that's actually one of my favourite things about this weapon. But when I looked closely at it, I immediately realized that the design looked very familiar. It appears to have been taken from the Extreme RPK Blood Purge, a weapon I actually made content with months ago. I'm pretty sure most of you probably don't remember that gameplay anymore. 😂 But don't worry, I'm definitely bringing that weapon back at some point because that ion sight is too clean to only use on one gun.
I'm not even going to complain about Blood Strike using a similar sight on another weapon. If the sight is this clean, I honestly understand why they would want to reuse the design. You can't just create a beautiful sight like this and waste it on one weapon. 😌 What's even better is that this Ultra Galil doesn't just look good; it also solves one of the problems I had with the base Galil. With the normal version, I usually feel like I need to attach a scope before I can comfortably use the gun. But with this skin, the clean iron sight makes a huge difference. I can actually pick up the weapon, aim down sight and start fighting without immediately feeling like I need to search for a scope. And that's exactly what makes this skin even more valuable to me.
I now have a Galil that looks amazing, has a clean sight, and is attached to a weapon I've already been enjoying using. I honestly think this thing deserves a permanent spot in my loadouts, especially for Battle Royale. I'm already thinking about taking it into Shutter Island 🏝️, because with how fast and aggressive that map can get, having a weapon that feels comfortable without needing to depend heavily on a scope could be really useful. The funny thing is, I originally wasn't even chasing this skin. I wasn't expecting to get the SVD, and I wasn't planning on spending money either. I simply completed the tasks, used the cards I earned, got lucky with the coins, and realized I had enough to claim something I actually wanted. So I guess this is one of those times where being lucky is better than being rich. 😂
If you've made it this far, I really appreciate you for taking the time to read through the whole story. Let me know what you think about the Ultra Galil. Do you like the futuristic secret-agent design, or do you think Blood Strike could have done something better with it? And most importantly, would you spend your coins on this Ultra Galil, or would you save up and go for the Evo SVD instead? 😌
