An LMG was introduced to Call of Duty Mobile at the beginning of this year, but surprisingly, I've never had the chance to properly use it until now. I've used the gun before, but only with the default weapon appearance of another gun, the RPD, and trust me, the performance wasn't anywhere close to what I expected. Let me explain why.
For those who don't know, whenever a new weapon is introduced into Call of Duty Mobile, its default appearance sometimes takes the form of an older weapon in the same category if you haven't downloaded its actual weapon resources. For example, the default LMG appearance is the RPD, the SMG is the RUS-79U, the Assault Rifle is the M4, the Sniper Rifle is the DL Q33, and the Shotgun is the BY15. So, if you haven't downloaded the resources for a newly released weapon, you'll end up seeing it with the appearance of one of these older guns. Back then, my device was struggling with storage and performance, so downloading additional weapon resources wasn't something I could afford. I simply had to use the gun as an RPD, and because of how it looked and felt, I assumed it wasn't anything special. Meanwhile, the CODM community was going crazy over this weapon. Content creators were showcasing it everywhere, praising its performance and calling it one of the best guns to be introduced into the game. I watched everyone enjoy it while I was basically left out of the fun.
Well, yesterday I finally decided that it was time to make up for all those missed opportunities. I downloaded its actual weapon resources, entered the game and headed straight to the training ground. My first mission was to experiment with different attachments and find a loadout that suited my playstyle. I tested several combinations, paid attention to the recoil, aiming speed and overall handling, and eventually settled on the loadout I'm using in today's gameplay. After spending some time in the training ground, I jumped into a real match to see how well it would perform against actual opponents. However, I won't lie, I struggled a little because this was practically my first proper experience with the gun. I was still trying to understand its recoil pattern, get comfortable with its handling and figure out how to position myself during gunfights. Another thing I noticed was that the large circular magazine mounted on top of the weapon sometimes obstructed my view, especially when trying to keep track of enemies. I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it as I spend more time using the gun.
Despite being a beginner with this weapon, I managed to pull off a few good plays, and I'm honestly impressed with what I've discovered so far. The gun is incredibly stable, has surprisingly low recoil and comes with a ridiculously fast fire rate, almost giving me the same feeling I get when using the MG42. Its handling is also pretty comfortable, making it easier to keep my shots on target during engagements. However, it isn't perfect. The reload animation feels like it takes forever! I could probably grow old and come back before this thing finishes reloading 🤣. I also noticed that the aim assist doesn't feel particularly strong, at least based on my experience so far. These are things I'll have to work around as I continue learning the weapon, but they definitely don't change my opinion about it.
No cap, this gun is FIRE! I've already added it to my Battle Royale loadout, where it has temporarily taken the place of my Hades. I still need to figure out which weapon will eventually make way for it in my other loadouts, but for now, I'm enjoying what it brings to the table. Interestingly, the gun also gives me some serious PUBG vibes because its design reminds me of a weapon I've used there before. It has that little hunter feeling to it as well, especially with its unusual magazine design. 🤣🤣 I might actually consider downloading PUBG again, but looking at the available storage on my iPad, I think I should probably calm down and think twice before adding another massive game to my collection.
Anyway, this is one weapon I wish I had discovered properly much earlier. I can now understand why so many players and content creators were praising it when it first arrived. I've only just started learning how to use it, so there's definitely room for improvement, but this is already looking like a massive W for my loadout. Thanks for tuning in to today's post! Let me know what you think about this LMG, whether you've used it before and what attachments you would recommend. Don't forget to drop your comments before leaving. See you in the next one.🔫👋
