A mode just made its way back into Call of Duty Mobile, and this time, it’s the Quick Solo Mode. Under Quick Solo, there are three different sub modes: Sniper Quick Solo, Shotgun Quick Solo, and Full Auto Mode. I don't think I need to explain too much about what each one is about because, from the names alone, you already know what kind of chaos you’re about to experience. 😂
For today’s content, I jumped into the Shotgun Quick Solo Mode, where two players are placed against each other and have to settle the fight using shotguns. The interesting part is that you’re not forced to use one particular shotgun. You’re free to pick whichever shotgun you’re most comfortable with, and for me, that decision was almost automatic. I went straight for the KRM, because that weapon has been one of my favorite guns to use in Multiplayer. When it comes to Battle Royale, I usually have my love for the BY15, but Multiplayer? Give me my KRM and let me cook. 😂 My love for the KRM actually started after watching content creators and professional players use it. There was just something about the way they handled that weapon that made me want to master it myself. And then there’s the Legendary KRM Glorious Blaze. That skin is just beautiful, especially the kill effect. Honestly, it’s one of those weapon skins that makes you look at your account balance and start calculating your life choices. 😂 Every Call of Duty: Mobile player has probably seen a weapon skin and thought, “One day, that thing is going to be mine.” Until I can finally afford the Glorious Blaze, though, I’ll happily keep using my Epic KRM skins. In fact, I posted some content some time ago about one of those Epic skins, which I got for free through a Call of Duty: Mobile collaboration. And even now, I’m still enjoying that skin because I know how much grinding went into getting it. Sometimes, a weapon doesn’t have to be Legendary for you to enjoy using it. If you worked for it and you like it, that alone makes it special.
So, with my KRM equipped, it was time to face my opponent. And believe me, we fought hard. Shotgun fights in Call of Duty: Mobile can become extremely intense because there’s almost no room for mistakes. One wrong movement, one missed shot, or one moment of hesitation can completely change the outcome. But somewhere in the middle of all that fighting, something unexpected happened. Remember yesterday when I talked about being a good sportsman and being friendly with people while gaming? Well, this match gave me another reason to believe that gaming isn't always about winning or losing. At some point, I noticed that my opponent wasn't really trying to fight me anymore. I didn't understand what was happening at first because we couldn't communicate with words, but then I noticed he wasn't carrying his gun toward me or trying to shoot. Instead, he started jumping continuously. Now, if you’ve played Call of Duty Mobile for long enough, you already know what that usually means. 😂 When an enemy starts jumping repeatedly instead of shooting, there's a good chance they're trying to say, “Bro, let's chill for a moment.” Unfortunately, I didn't understand the message immediately. But once I realized what he was trying to communicate, I also lowered my weapon and backed down a little. At that moment, something surprisingly wholesome happened. Two players who came into the match as complete enemies suddenly decided to pause the battle and just... vibe for a moment.
We couldn't speak to each other. We didn't know each other's names beyond what the game showed us. We didn't know where the other person was from, what language they spoke, or anything about their lives outside that match. Yet somehow, through nothing more than a few movements and repeated jumps, we understood each other. That's one of the beautiful things about gaming. For those few moments, there was no enemy, no teammate, no rivalry and no trash talk. Just two gamers from completely different parts of the world showing each other a little bit of love and respect in the middle of a battlefield. 😂❤️
After spending some moments being friendly, we eventually decided it was time to get back to business. The friendship break was over, the shotguns came back out, and we continued the fight like nothing happened. And when everything was finally over, I managed to take the victory with a 12–3 score. But honestly, that score wasn't even the most memorable part of the match for me. The real joy came from that unexpected connection. Think about it: I entered that game expecting to fight a random opponent, get the victory, and move on to the next match. Instead, I ended up having a small but meaningful interaction with someone from a part of the world I may never even visit. We didn't exchange a single word, yet somehow we communicated perfectly. That's the kind of joy gaming can bring that you don't always see in the final scoreboard.
Sometimes it's not about the kills. Sometimes it's not about the victory. Sometimes it's about the random person you meet along the way and the little moment you share with them.
