It’s been quite a while since I last played a Blood Strike Ranked match. In fact, the last time I can remember playing SF Ranked was about two years ago! 😅 That’s definitely not good for my grinding record, especially because I’m known as a chronic aggressive grinder when it comes to free rewards. Unfortunately, I’ve also missed out on a lot of free rewards recently. I took about a week away from the game, and by the time I came back, most of the things I was grinding for were already gone. 😪 Some new rewards are now available to grind for, but honestly, I still think the old ones were much better. Today, I had been playing Battle Royale Hot Zone Showdown for quite a while, but after playing so many matches, the mode started getting a little boring. I decided it was time to switch things up, so I jumped into SF Ranked just to play a few matches and see how rusty I had become.
And wow… my first round was terrible. 😂 I couldn’t even get a single kill before I died. Normally, losing the first round in SF Ranked can put you in a very difficult position because you’re already giving the opposing team an advantage. But instead of letting that first round affect us, my squad completely turned things around. We started fighting back, winning rounds and gradually taking control of the match. The comeback was actually getting interesting, and then came the second round, where I unexpectedly discovered my new best friend… an LMG. 😂 I managed to pull off a 3–4 kill clutch with the LMG, and honestly, I was surprised by how well it performed. I’ve never really been a fan of LMGs. I usually prefer using Assault Rifles and other weapons, but recently, I’ve started appreciating LMGs more on both Call of Duty Mobile and Blood Strike because they’ve been helping me get a lot of kills.
The funny thing is, I didn’t even buy this LMG because I wanted to use it. I only picked it up because I didn’t have enough in-game money to afford an Assault Rifle for that particular round. My original plan was simple: use the LMG for that round, then switch back to an Assault Rifle as soon as I had enough money. But after that clutch, my plans completely changed. 😂 I thought, “Wait a minute… this thing might actually be better for me than an Assault Rifle.” So I decided to keep using it. And throughout the rest of the match, this LMG just kept performing. It never really gave me a reason to put it down. The more I used it, the more comfortable I became with it, and I started realizing just how powerful these guns can be when you put a scope on them. With a scope, LMGs are seriously dangerous. 😭🔥
At this point, I might actually become an LMG user in SF Ranked until I find a good enough reason to switch back to another weapon type. Who would have thought that an LMG I only bought because I couldn’t afford an Assault Rifle would end up becoming the weapon I relied on for the rest of the match? In the following rounds, I decided to add a Sniper to my gameplay and try to bring a little more variety to my loadout. Unfortunately, that experiment didn’t go nearly as well. I’m not really a Sniper player in Blood Strike, and it showed. I ended up dying some pretty stupid deaths because I was trying to use a weapon that I’m simply not that comfortable with. 😭 I probably should have just stuck with what was already working for me.
Still, I managed to redeem myself a little in the final round. I picked up the Sniper again and this time I was able to get a kill with it, which at least helped make up for the previous deaths. Considering I haven’t played SF Ranked in about two years, I’d say this was a pretty interesting return. I came into the mode rusty, had a terrible first round, discovered that I might actually be an LMG guy now, experimented with Snipers, and somehow ended up helping my squad turn the match around.
