Today was actually a really great day. I didn't get as much sleep as I wanted, but despite that, I still had a really nice day and got to do quite a few things that made it worthwhile. I tried to wake up early this morning because I wanted to make it to church on time. I didn't want to have one of those mornings where I wake up late, rush everything, and eventually arrive at church when the service has already started. Thankfully, the cold weather in the morning did most of the work for me 😂. The moment I felt how cold it was, going back to sleep suddenly became a lot harder. I still tried to sleep for a little longer, but eventually I realized there was no point fighting it, so I just got up, took a quick bath, got myself ready, and started heading to church.
When I arrived, I actually ended up sitting in the front row, which is not something that happens every time. Usually, I would probably prefer somewhere a little farther back, but today I somehow found myself right in front. The service had a lot of singing, praise, and preaching, so there was always something going on. At some point during the service, I started feeling really hungry, and that was when I realized I probably should have eaten something before leaving home😂. But there was no way I was going to leave in the middle of the service just because I was hungry, so I had to endure it until everything was finally over.
After getting back, I eventually went back to one of my favorite things to do.....gaming.
It honestly feels like Roblox has started understanding the kind of games I enjoy. The recommendations I keep getting are becoming more and more interesting, and Roblox keeps throwing some absolute bangers at me. The only problem is that I obviously can't play every interesting game mode the moment I discover it. Whenever I see something that looks really fun but I don't have enough time to play it immediately, I usually take a screenshot so I can come back to it later.
That's exactly what I did today.
In a way, Hive, Steemit, and Blurt have also become a sort of storage system for me. 😂 Whenever I discover a Roblox mode that I enjoy, I can make a post about it and later come back to my old posts if I forget the name. Instead of trying to remember the name of every game mode I've played, I can simply search through my posts, find the one I wrote about, and immediately know what game I wanted to play. So this platform is not only places where I share my gaming experiences, they're also becoming my personal gaming archive.
The game mode I decided to try today is called Deagle Arena. From the name alone, you can probably guess what the entire mode is about. 😂 The game basically puts players on an icy 🧊 battlefield where everyone is running around with a Desert Eagle, trying to eliminate as many opponents as possible. It is essentially a free for all match, meaning everyone is your enemy and there is no team to depend on. You just have to move around, find your opponents, aim properly, and take them down before they get you.
The Desert Eagle in this mode is also extremely powerful. One well placed shot has a very high chance of eliminating your opponent. I'd say there is probably around a 90% chance of getting the kill with one shot if you hit properly, and if the first shot doesn't finish them, a second shot will most likely do the job.
Of course, things weren't always that easy for me because my network decided to give me problems during the match. 😭 There was actually a moment where I had to shoot one player around five times before the game finally registered the kill. Under normal circumstances, that player probably would have been eliminated almost immediately, but the bad connection made things much more difficult. You could clearly feel that the shots weren't registering properly, which made the fight unnecessarily stressful.
Despite the network problems, I still managed to have the highest number of kills in the match.
Since this was a kill based game mode, having the most kills meant I finished in 1st place🥇🏅. That honestly made the experience even better because I wasn't expecting to dominate the match, especially with how bad my connection was at some points.
And immediately after leaving the game, I knew I had to do something very important. I favorited the game mode🤣. There was absolutely no way I was going to discover a mode this fun and then risk losing it forever.
At this point, I might have accidentally found my temporary Call of Duty Mobile replacement. 😂 Maybe I'll just keep playing Deagle Arena for now and spend the entire night running around on the ice with a Desert Eagle, trying to destroy everyone in sight.
Sometimes you don't need an overly complicated game mode to have fun. Give me a powerful weapon, a bunch of opponents, a nice map, and the freedom to shoot everyone, and apparently I'm perfectly entertained. 😂
Overall, today was a really enjoyable day. From waking up early and making it to church on time, to surviving the hunger during the service, and finally discovering another Roblox game mode that I absolutely love, it was definitely a day worth remembering. Thanks for visiting my post, and as always, don't forget to drop your comments before leaving.
