Today was honestly a really stressful day, and unfortunately, the headache I had been dealing with decided to come back because of all the stress. There has been no electricity in my area for two days now, and since my power bank also died, I had no way to keep my phone charged enough to prepare today’s post. I really didn’t want to skip posting, so I had to do something about it.
I ended up walking a long distance to a friend’s house just to charge my phone. And it wasn’t even just one trip. I had to walk back and forth about four times before I was finally able to get everything sorted out. By the time I got my phone back, my head was already banging badly. I tried eating something, hoping it would help, but unfortunately, it didn’t make much difference. At this point, after making today’s post, I’m definitely going to get some sleep because sleep is usually what helps me get rid of this headache. But before calling it a day, I still wanted to play a little Blood Strike and give you guys something for today.
For today’s gameplay, I decided to return to Hot Zone Showdown after staying away from the mode for a really long time. I actually stopped playing this mode because of how packed everything gets. The map is really small, so you constantly have players running around, shooting, fighting, and basically creating chaos everywhere you go. When all of that is happening at the same time, my phone starts struggling, and the lag can become so bad that it affects how well I can play. Despite all that, I still have a soft spot for this mode because it reminds me of a mini version of Alcatraz from CODM. I really enjoy game modes where you can constantly get into fights without having to spend too much time searching for enemies. I like that rush fight experience, so even though I knew the lag would probably be a problem, I still decided to give Hot Zone Showdown another try today.
As soon as I landed, I picked the first gun from my loadout and started playing. But I decided to make the match a little more interesting for myself. Every time I got eliminated, I would switch to another gun so I could experience how different weapons performed in the mode. By the end of the match, I had used around five different guns, and surprisingly, I enjoyed using every single one of them. It was actually fun switching weapons and adapting to each one instead of sticking with the same gun throughout the entire match.
The biggest problem, as expected, was still the lag. With so many players moving and shooting around such a small map, my phone was really struggling to keep up. At some point, it felt like my phone was literally smoking 😂. But even with all that happening, I was still able to walk away with 7 kills. I know 7 kills might not sound like much, and honestly, I would call that a poor performance by my standards, but considering the amount of lag, the state of my phone, and the fact that I was already dealing with a headache, I was just happy I could play and enjoy myself for a little while.
Unfortunately, I had to cut my recording because my phone was already struggling badly, and I didn't want to push it any further. Anyway, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and checking out another one of my gaming experiences. I still need to play a little more before I finally go to sleep and hopefully wake up without this headache tomorrow. 😊 Goodnight everyone, and thanks for visiting.
