Good day everyone. Today was honestly a really good day for me because, after spending about a week away from home, I finally returned to my parents’ house. A week ago, I travelled to my church to work, and that was where I stayed throughout the week. The work isn’t completely finished yet, so I’ll be going back on Saturday to continue, but for now, I’m back home and, honestly, I can already feel the difference.
The place I stayed for the past week came with a lot of challenges, especially when it came to network and electricity. The network there was extremely unstable, even worse than what I normally deal with at home, and the power supply wasn't any better. For someone who spends a lot of time gaming and sharing gameplay content, that combination was a serious problem. Playing games there was frustrating because sometimes the network would look perfectly fine on my phone, but the moment I entered a fight, everything would change. The game could show that my connection was good, yet as soon as I encountered an enemy, my latency would suddenly become terrible. Before I could even react properly, I would already be down.
And you can imagine how annoying that feels when you know that, with a proper connection, those are enemies you would normally handle without much trouble. After experiencing that several times, I started playing less because I didn't want to keep putting myself in situations where my performance was being affected by something outside my control. Uploading my gameplays was another struggle entirely. I really don't like passing a day without sharing something with you guys. For me, when an entire day passes without posting gameplay, it genuinely feels like I wasted that day. Because of that, I would do everything possible to get my uploads out, even when it meant walking along the road just to find a better network connection.
There were times when it was already getting dark and I was still outside trying to get enough internet to upload my gameplay. It wasn't exactly the safest or most comfortable thing to do, but I kept doing it because I didn't want to break my consistency. Gaming and sharing these moments with you guys has become something I genuinely enjoy, so even when the conditions aren't perfect, I always try to find a way. That is why coming back home today felt so refreshing. The moment I got back, I could already tell that things were going to be much easier. I was so tired from everything that I slept like a baby almost immediately after arriving. After waking up, I got something to eat, relaxed for a little while, and eventually picked up my phone because, of course, there was one thing I had been waiting to do, Game!! After spending days dealing with terrible network conditions, I was finally back somewhere I could actually play properly.
However, when I started playing, I noticed something unexpected. My fingers felt a little weak and my movements weren't as sharp as they normally are. I guess taking a break from serious gaming had affected my muscle memory a little, so instead of immediately jumping into Battle Royale and embarrassing myself, I decided to do the smart thing. I went straight to the training ground. I spent some time warming up, getting my aim back, moving around, practicing my shots and basically reminding my fingers that they had a job to do. 😂 After warming up properly, I went back into the actual game. And from that point onward... The experience became CINEMATIC. 🎥
I don't even know what happened, but suddenly I started playing like I had unlocked some hidden ability. The confidence was back, the aim was connecting, my movements felt smoother, and every encounter started feeling like I was some kind of demi-god. Of course, I'm not actually a demi-god, but the way I was performing today made me think otherwise. 😂
There was one particular encounter that really boosted my confidence. I came across two players, and the way I handled them made it feel like they had accidentally walked into the wrong lobby. I was taking them down so comfortably that my ego immediately received a massive upgrade. And the funniest part happened when I encountered them again later. I managed to take down one of them, and immediately the other teammate turned around and started running for his life. 😂 The guy disappeared so quickly that I didn't even get the chance to finish the job. I guess after watching his teammate get eliminated, he decided that surviving was more important than proving a point. Honestly, I can't blame him. 😅
After spending quite some time dominating the Battle Royale modes, I decided to switch things up and play a little Multiplayer in the Arcade mode. There are quite a lot of free rewards available, and as someone who is always looking for free rewards to grind and content that could become useful for future posts, there was no way I was going to ignore them. The Multiplayer matches were enjoyable, although I have to admit that I didn't enjoy them as much as I enjoyed running through those Battle Royale lobbies. There is just something different about Battle Royale for me. I enjoy the longer fights, the encounters, the pressure, the movement and especially the feeling of surviving and dominating an entire lobby.
Still, Multiplayer was a nice change of pace, and I was able to contribute heavily to my team's success there as well. Looking back at today's gaming session, I can confidently say it was a complete success. I came back home after spending a difficult week dealing with unstable electricity, terrible network conditions and the constant struggle of trying to upload my gameplay. I finally got some proper rest, woke up feeling refreshed, warmed up in the training ground, and then went straight into the game and started dominating.
I managed to carry my teammates to victory in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale, which made the entire session even more satisfying. And the best part is that I'm not done yet. I'm still looking forward to playing more tonight because now that I'm back home, I can finally enjoy my games without constantly worrying about whether the network is going to betray me in the middle of a fight. 😂 So yeah, today was a reminder of how much better gaming feels when everything is actually working properly.
Thank you so much for visiting, watching, supporting and following my gaming journey. Whether I'm playing under terrible conditions, walking around looking for network just to upload a gameplay, or sitting comfortably at home dominating lobbies, I'll always try my best to bring something entertaining to you guys. And if today's session is anything to go by... Tonight might be even more cinematic. 🎥🔥
