DIY projects with old military crates

When I find old stuff like this, especially wooden one, I try to make something useful out of them.

First thing I've done was a coffee table for my wife who likes to have her coffee on the balcony.

It can be used as storage also when you open them.

And the other one was a whiskey cabinet, this one's for me of course :)
