This is the second of December and is dry season. The harmattan is getting severe. I normally have dry skin, so I started planning what to apply on my skin to look more oily. Though I got one today at the nearby supermarket, my mother said it won't help disguise the skin.
Well, the harmattan is my favorite season. Apart from the fact that it causes difficulty in breathing when engaging in stressful activities, I kinda like the fact that I hardly sweat, and it dries all the clothes in an instant. But another thing I dislike is the heat from the sun; it looks as if it’s absorbing the moisture from the skin and draining my energy.
The only remedy to it is constantly drinking water to keep my body hydrated. Drinking water means constant urinating; that's the part that kills me more if I'm having a pressing task to complete in a place where we all pay to use the restroom.
Well, I can't wait to experience the height of the harmattan in my hometown, where it is more severe because we live close to the forest, and a river is nearby that sends chills in the morning and evening.
