It's just 4h per of watering per day at this time of year while it is very hot. In fact I am already doing less than this as we did have some decent rain last week. Along with a 20°C temperature drop in four days!

Snow has arrived on our mountain tops which is very unusual so early. I could talk for a long time about the real reasons our climate is changing the way it is.

Yes my father was indeed a peculiar person. One of his top skills was people. He just knew how to make people comfortable. Which I suppose is how he found his place in Valais. Even our neighbours from that period are still in contact with me as a consequence. Wonderful country people with cows and agriculture. We used to buy their milk every morning, fresh from the cow!
