We would love very much to welcome you to this region! I cannot claim to know the remainder of this country but here there is a very special feeling created by the mountains and micro-climates which seem able to sustain certain plants & trees one would normally expect to see further south. Like the avocado tree in our village which is currently full of fruit. Beats me how this is possible, yet every year it produces without hesitation.
For the calendula cream we are by no means experts, this being our first year to attempt it. All we have done is added the flower heads with petals (once they are dry) to a carrier oil where it will sit for a few months before removing the excess and using as a cream. My feet suffer in the summer months so this is intended for them next year.
All the best on your speedy recovery!
