Steemit is at its infant stage and is already getting lots of attention. The first users of the platform were cryptocurrency users, but now other guys are moving into the community.

@shopnow_ng now accepts bitcoin shopnow.ng is the first online shopping website that accepts bitcoin. shopnow.ng is up and running have promised to look into accepting STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS.

When registering on Steemit, you were told that you're among one of the earliest people to join the platform. This is an advantage.
Steemit has not reached up to 10% of Facebook's population yet. I currently don't know how long it will take to get up to 10%, probably some years, but I can't wait.
Very soon, companies will start contacting some of us steemians for advertisements.
They'll be like "Mr
@samstickkz, we've seen you have huge followers and we'll like you to advertise our new product". This will happen soon.
I'm just imagining how 3 years from now would be like for steemit.
