I think sadly that this spiraled out of control a bit due to a misunderstanding of Dreemport and a misguided discussion on what Dreemport does regarding PG13 content. I always appreciate it when you take the time to wade into a conversation with your considered views.

Dreemport is not a publishing house. Dreemport is a pay-it-forward curation platform. We have users of all ages, all cultural and religious backgrounds using our service to garner more eyes on their content, improve engagement, grow their networks, find their tribe, and build community. As such, we respectfully ask writers to adhere to a few simple ground rules so that we do not expose public curators unnecessarily to content that may be inappropriate or offensive to them. We are very transparent on this. Communities like The Ink Well have a similar policy in place, effectively, in so far as gratuitous violence and overt sexual content is concerned. We do allow one f-bomb per post in line with PG13... Writers don't have to share all of their content in Dreemport. They can pick and choose what they feel best fits the audience. We do not censor or cancel anyone. Writers simply share the URLs to their posts in Dreemport and the platform directs public curators to the individual writers' own blogs. We don't host the content ourselves and therefore we cannot possibly censor it.

We also cannot simply apply a NSFW tagging system to allow curators to ignore content because the way in which Dreemport works is that every public curator is assigned 5 random posts to curate (when they choose to curate on a given day) and they are asked to read and rank them all. So it would not work within our system to give curators the option to skip posts.
