Aah yes, I do see and appreciate where you are coming from... and I think you are right that when we simply appreciate someone for the talents that they exhibit, then that is more a case of enjoyment of the person. But in my view, when we can appreciate people for their hearts and connect with them more deeply (even if we have not met in person before) then we can develop a love for them that is real. And that love can take root and strengthen over time as we face trials together, experience conflicts, and find ways through those conflicts through understanding and appreciation of each other's perspective. Some instances of love will wilt away over time, while others will grow. It takes patience and nurturing and a desire to know the heart of the other person.

And... I'd love to meet you when I next visit Germany, if logistics allow for it (no immediate plans to travel to the EU... but if the opportunity arises, I will be sure to contact you!)
