The city has been decorated long before the pandemic, but not everywhere, only in tourist sites or where the local government makes propaganda, so I want to share with you part of the ornamentation that they placed on Vicente Landaeta Gil Avenue in our city Barquisimeto.
Located to the west of the city, between the Pedagogical University and the Lara State International Airport, there is a metal poster with representative images of our state.
The goat: A domestic animal raised in the arid lands of Lara, it is the animal that will most be found among the herds of the towns that make up the state.
For the fauna there are the images of the agave, the sisal, a shrub from which the raw material for the production of sacks comes out and the semeruco, a tree that bears the typical fruit that receives the same name of the tree and that occurs even in the cities of Lara.
And of course the coffee that Lara state produces and is consumed in every corner of this great state.
Accompanied by other colorful artistic works and with a phrase native to Barquisimetan. #naguara is the word most used by the citizens of my city in expression of something surprising.
