Situated in the middle of the Purulia town of West Bengal India ; saheb bandh is a great big lake which was digged by the convicts under the british rule .Colonel tikley was in charge there .It was started in 1843 and took 5 years to complete the task.Nowadays its a sightseeing place for tourists and photographers as migratory birds from siberia, baluchistan and many parts of Europe visits this place every year.
