I have been in the same situation. I texted about 7–8 people I know on Hive for help. I was also taken as a scammer to some people at some point, and when I got back to Hive, someone asked me to explain why I was texting people. The thing is, so many things about this “Seunruth” issue don’t feel right. I don’t see how you text the whole Hive and give false information as a way out. This is a scam, and the funniest thing is, she used her close friend’s name to lie to get money from people. She didn’t do well in many areas. Also, blaming the hardship in the country is no excuse. This case is so annoying, especially because it makes it so hard for the people actually struggling to seek help. It makes me so angry, and I really can’t hold it anymore.

I still owe about three Hivers money to date, and I constantly explain my plans and update them on my payment methods. I have also repaid many loans I have taken in my long time here on Hive. It sucks that she took money, stopped replying, and faked documents and all. I’ve thought about this critically because I spoke to her on the phone before all this, and she didn’t sound like someone who could do this. I believe she’s under some sort of pressure or has joined forces with some fraudulent people to achieve this. Either way, it’s really bad.
