I lost my mom few months ago and I received alot of supports on the posts I wrote about it. It helped go a long way. I've taken loans from people here too and they were happy to help me. The last one used the word "Because I trust you"

Life could turn upside down in a moment and we as humans needs each other. The beauty of Hive is that your every move and action helps create that reputation. It isn't just the number next to our usernames that counts but the words and contributions people have seen.

I use to tell people that Hive is more than just a social media because on my regular web2 apps, I don't have the friends I've built here.

Do people forget you if you become inactive for a while?

Maybe, I once asked Taskmaster this question in one of the interviews sessions I host here on Hive. According to him, one has to show up everyday, because it is very possible that you get forgotten. Recently, I think it all depends on your contributions. Some things tend to stay forever or at least way longer.
