Greetings!
Decision making is one aspect of every human's life that should not be taken for granted and this is because it tells so much about our present and most especially our future and whatever decision we take today, the consequences are their lying waiting for us in the nearest future. So, decision taking is a crucial part of everyone's life that must be taken with caution.
Having said so much about decision and its importance, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me in the Scifi-Multiverse community which is all about, “Decision taking.”
Like I said earlier, decision making is one major aspect of life that should be taken with caution and for this reason, I would tell you about those positive and negative decisions that I took in the journey of my life.
I could remember myself taking the decision about the course I would like to study in the university. Back then when others were choosing courses like Law, Medicine and Engineering courses, I opted for the Education course which to my best of knowledge is the best course for me.
So, I decided to pursue my dream of studying Education against all odds in the university, some people even approached me to change my mind and whenever I told them that I have made up my mind, they began to mock me and this was how people decided to leave me alone and I was rejected by all just because of my decision to study Education.
It got to a point that I felt dejected and lonely as their were nobody by my side, but because of my passion for the course, I kept on moving and at the end of my program in the university, I came top of my class and I'm immediately we finished with our convocation party, a reputable school in the city employed me and I worked for them for years and it was during my working for them that they sponsored me abroad for my master degree and from there, I went for my doctorate degree and now I'm doing fine and at the same time imparting knowledge and moulding lives which was the reason I opted to venture into Education in the first place.
So, my decision back then is now paying off for me, had it been I have allowed people's decision to override my personal decision back then, maybe I wouldn't have where I found myself now. Although there were challenges left and right, I was able to subdue and overcome all the challenges that came with my decision making. It's as if I have seen the future before I adhere to my decision as everything is now working as I have dreamt before my decision taking.
In conclusion, decision taking can be so tricky, but one thing is that we must take the needed risk in doing what we deemed best for through our decision. Those people that neglected me back then are now back to me and I'm proud to have taken the decision that I took.
