Greetings!
One thing about our skills is that, it will always make ways for us no matter what the case may be. I have over time seen people saying a series of things about skills, but to me, those talking down on skills are so ignorant of what they are talking about and this is because skill is one thing that will always bail one out when the need arises for it.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the prompt in the Hive Learners community which is all about, “stranded.”
In response to the content of the prompt in the Hive Learners community, I would say that, if I'm stranded in a strange land and looking for a way to survive in that strange land, one skill that I believe I would use to make way for myself is my speaking skill.
I have seen many people making use of their skills to their own advantage, I have seen people making use of their fashion skill, creative skill all and all, but as for me, if there's a skill that I would use to my advantage, that skill will be my speaking skill in a strange land and the reason for this is that, I know myself to be good in public speaking and not only that, I know that I'm good in motivating others and when this skill that I have got is being put into good use, then I'm very sure I will be able to cope and survive in that strange land that I might have found myself.
One thing that I love so much about this skill is that, there's no need for me to be looking for a gadget or tools to make use of the skill, the only thing that I need is my composure, once I'm able to put that into use, then I'm very sure that I will be to carry out the skill and this will not only benefit those that are listening to me, but myself and this is because, I will first put this skill to use for myself and this would be through the way in which I will to motivate myself to putting the skill to good use so that I will be able to survive on the strange land.
Aside from this, I'm very sure that through this skill, I will be able to shape other people's life and turn their life for good and by this means, I will be able to earn my own living which will help me to survive in the strange land.
In conclusion, it's not only one talent that can make way for one, one other important thing that can make way for one is one skill and in my own case, one skill that has not let me down before is my listening skill and that skill is the one that I'm very sure of making me to survive in a strange land.
