Greetings!
Living a fake life is not just a thing of now, it's always been like that right from the time immemorial when people used to borrow shirts and trousers to look good. These things they normally claim were theirs, but in the real sense of it, it's not theirs. That's how things have been right from the time immemorial.
Having said so much about this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “All is fake.”
One thing that I have always thought about is how technology has come to our aid as people. The advent of technology has really done a great deal to us and not only that, it's really made things so easy for us to do as we can now relate with our loved ones far and near. Aside from this, it's also provided us with different options of making money online via social media.
All these and many more are the ways through which technology has really helped us to live a fulfilled life when compared to the years past.
However, as good and beautiful technology has been to us, one thing that cannot be taken away from it is the fake life that it has brought with it. Technology no doubt has brought to us human kind this kind of a fake life that cannot be separated from it.
Now, the kind of life people now portray on social media cannot be compared to the kind of life they are living in the real sense of their physical life. This has really deceived so many people and to my best of knowledge, this kind of a fake life has really consumed some people so to say. Not only that, it has also consumed marriages through comparison.
Back to the content of the topic per se, one thing that is so disturbing is how people are now using bot which is a form of technology to build their various social media accounts. This is now the order of the day in our society right now and it's so disturbing as people now grow their followers with the said bot just to make money through this unseen followers engagement.
This is one of the disadvantages of technology to this our generation which such be checked just to curb the act and life of fake that people are living, I think a law should even be put in place to curb the excessiveness of these people that are trying to deceive others that they are living a real life life when they themselves know that they are only living on bot to grow and influence their accounts.
Although this is well known to everyone in the public space and on social media, the majority of our people are now doing the same just to make a living online. But one thing I'm very sure of is that, if this is not properly checked on time, it will definitely erode the purpose of originality in our society and all what we will have left with us is fake.
