The question of Do we all believe in one God is significant and valuable particularly in a world where there exists many religions and beliefs. The world has several different people who worship differently, have varied names of god and different traditions. Due to this, one might assume that we have a belief in numerous gods. However, when we go deeper we will find that the fact that there is one real God is not isolated.

The bible explicitly educates the fact that there is no other God. Deuteronomy 6:4, provides that, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. In this verse, it is depicted that God is not partitioned. He is unique, and He is only one who should be worshipped. Although people refer to Him using various names, the real God remains to be one.

In my opinion, confusion occurs when individuals pay more attention to religion than on God himself. There are rules, cultures and practices in religions yet God is above all these. Ephesians 4:6 says in the bible, there is one God and Father of all who is above all and through all, and in you all. This informs us that God belongs to all people and not only one group.

Jesus Christ also preached of a single god. In John 17:3 He said, That they might know the only true God. This makes us remember that knowing God is not about division and argument, but truth and relationship.

In summary, even not everybody thinks in the same manner, but in Bible it is clearly taught that there is only one true God. I believe that in case people try to find answers in truthful and modest ways, they will get to know this fact. Our faith in a single God must result in our love, unity and purity in the service of God.

God bless his word
Amen
