TOPIC: THE GIANT CALLED SICKNESS
TEXT: JAMES 5:14-16
Sickness is among the many circumstances in life which prayer is needed to tackle and deal with.
This giant called Sickness means disordered, weakened or unsound condition of the body and the spirit.
Sickness is capable of crippling us physically and emotionally. There are reasons behind every action.
James says,
Is anyone among you sick, let him call the Elders . . . for the prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (Jas.5:14 – 16).
Brethren, you need to have:
Faith in God for your healing (Mark 16:15)
Forgiveness (1 Cor. 11:30; Heb.12:16) and
Righteousness (Mal. 4:20; Isa.30:26).
The power of God is the same today as ever. Therefore, know that your body is God’s temple and it must not be defiled by these giants operating in your bodily environment.
THE WAY OUT:
Obedience (Exod. 15:26)
Humility (2 Chron.7:14
Self – Control (Matt.17:2; Isa. 58:11)
Trust in God for healing (Exod. 23:24-25).
The Lord has the prerogative to heal or not to heal; our role is to pray with sincerity and faith (Mark.11:23, 24)
PRAYER POINTS:
Every disease and terminal sickness keeping me on the ground, hear the word of the Lord, disappear now, in the name of Jesus.
Every plantation of sickness in my life be uprooted and die, in the name of Jesus.
You giants of sickness supervising the breakdown of my body tissue and blood cells, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.
The power that strengthens sickness in my blood and water; Jesus with your blood flush it out of my body, in Jesus’ name.
Generational sickness attacking and killing bread winners in my family, be exposed by fire and die, in the name of Jesus.
I reject sickness and its manipulation in my life, in the name of Jesus.
Arrow of sickness and infirmity fired against me, come out by the fire of Holy Ghost and back to the sender now, in Jesus name.
Every negative Word that has kept me in sickness and infirmity, lose your grip over my life in Jesus name.
Holy Ghost fire burn through my body system and consume every deposit of sickness that could manifest in the future, in Jesus’ Mighty name.
Heal me and I shall be healed/7x; in the name of Jesus.
