As a youth from the South, my heart truly bleeds for this nation, especially fellow countrymen from the Middle Belt who have been worst hit by incessant attacks, from bloodthirsty and mindless killer Fulani Headers.

I do feel it's high time we stopped calling each other names and start having those conversations. I do feel we should stop playing politics and trivialising critical National issues such as "Restructuring, Fiscal Federalism, Devolution of powers from the centre to the Federating Units and Community policing ". If we don't, we'll end up having a country that's more divided, and polarized than we met it.
As citizens, we all rely on the police and other sister security agencies for protection. Unfortunately, we now have a Country where if a man truly wants to protect what's his, he has to do it for himself, else, he ends up a statistics!
For a security outfit that is overwhelmed, underpaid, understaffed and embroiled with issues of welfare, how do they get motivated for the tough task of protecting lives and properties?
People now act like animals in this country, like in the animal kingdom were Father's are the Alfa males; fierce, strong and in charge, and only know one thing, which is to devour. Son's are the beta males; cute and easily smacked out of the way and trampled on. That's in the animal kingdom, but for humans, we ought to be our children's Teachers, Heroes and Role Models.
Do we intend to bequeath a Nation flowing with blood to the next generation? Do we truly intend bequeathing a Nation were human lives do not matter and everyone just go about their daily activities because those who were gruesomely murdered, hacked to death or roasted like chickens are not their relations?
Do we actually need a UK parliamentarian to warn us that our Country is gradually heading the way of Rwanda and Somalia before we'll take our problems seriously?

Our political leaders and elites must understand that government only exist as a means which allows us to live, love and create. If the people do not exist, there will be no government.
