The Regional Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) of the Philippines is planning a case against Bangladesh Bank. The bank said in a statement on the same day that RCB was consistently responsible for the case of reserve theft. The bank says, the case against RCB is not logical, while not taking action against the people of Bangladesh Bank who are involved in this incident. Philippine news agency Repler reported this Thursday on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said Bangladesh Bank will file a lawsuit against RCB in Philippines for theft. Bangladesh Bank also called an emergency press conference on that day, RCBC is responsible for the theft. Some suggestions have been given to RCBS. If they do not accept the proposal, they will be sued in the next two-three months. The case will be filed in the New York court. In the case of the Federal Reserve Bank or Fed and the settlement of financial transactions in the world, the transaction provider swift is being tried with the Bangladesh Bank.
