God, as a person, was revealed through his Son.
"Being the radiance of glory and the image of his hypostasis"
(Heb. 1, 3),Jesus came into the world as a personal Savior. He ascended to heaven as a personal Savior; He, as a personal Savior, intercedes for us in heaven. Before the throne of God we have an Intercessor "like the Son of man". (Revelation 1, 13)
Christ, the light of the world, hid his dazzling glory from the Divine and, in the image of Man, lived among people so that they could get acquainted with their Creator and not be destroyed by his glory. Since sin separated man from the Creator, no one has seen God; It is revealed only through Christ.
"I and the Father are one," said Christ. (John 10, 30)
“No one knows the Son except the Father; and no one knows the Father except the Son, and whom the Son wants to reveal. "(Mat. Y, 27)
Christ came to teach people everything that God wants them to know. In heaven above, on earth, and in the boundless waters of the ocean, we see God's works of creation. Everything created testifies to his power, his wisdom and his love. But from the stars, the ocean, or the waterfalls, we cannot learn about the person of God from what was revealed through Christ.
God saw that a clearer revelation of his personality and character is required than that given through nature. He sent his Son into the world to show how much the human eye, the nature, and the qualities of the invisible God could bear.
Consider the words that Christ said in the upper room the night before the crucifixion. An hour of serious testing was approaching for him; He tried to comfort the disciples, who also faced severe trial and temptation.
From the depths of our hearts we must think of Jesus as the way, the truth and the life. Christ wanted them to have a clearer and more defined knowledge of God.
