Kuroko no Basket. Sports anime has a similar feel and tropes, they just replace the action with competing in sports.

Re:Zero and Steins;Gate haracters go through a lot of traumatic experiences that change them throughout the anime. Re:Zero is more fantasy while Steins;Gate is scientific

Aoi Bungaku: Criminally underwatched. An adaptation of 6 modern japanese classics, they change directors after finishing each story, so expect lots of changes between them, still all of them are good. In particular the first one (eps 1-4), second (eps 5-6) and the fourth (9-10) are my favorites. My second favorite anime only behind Rakugo.

Kotonoha no Niwa A romantic movie, really wonderful and slow love story, really damn beautiful.

Yuri on Ice : drama and action ,no fight , but overall it's a really good show.

Ghost in the Shell hey are like parallel universes. Mmovie is a classic.

Nozaki kun Parody of romantic comedies.

Tsurezure Children: Small 2 minutes per episode series, shows many high school couples story and their different lifes.

The devil focus on a demon lord who gets transported to our world but he loses his powers.

Non Non Biyori isl CGDCT show .
Death Parade is unique and a little different from other anime with a strong attention given on death and is produced by the same studio as Death Note .It also shows a glimpse of Light Yagami for few seconds .

Code Geass anime shows anti hero character like Light from Death Note, who got some gifted power he uses to change the events the way he desires .
