PhotoNature #41 [ESP/ENG]

Lechuga, hinojo y cebollas... estas son algunas de las verduras que estoy cultivando actualmente en mi huerto. En estas imágenes que capturé hace unos días podéis ver algunas lechugas que están ya cerca del momento de su recolección; haré con ellas unas buenas ensaladas en casa. A los hinojos aún le faltan, no sé, puede que un mes o algo más. Y por último, para las cebollas habrá que esperar aún un tiempo más, con suerte a mediados de primavera podré recolectar las primeras. Lo cierto es que poder cultivar la comida que se lleva a casa, ése trabajo con las manos, con la tierra... es algo muy gratificante que recomiendo sin duda a cualquiera.

Lettuce, fennel and onions... these are some of the vegetables I am currently growing in my garden. In these pictures I took a few days ago you can see some of the lettuces that are close to harvest time; I will make some nice salads at home with them. The fennels are still a month or so away, I don't know, maybe more. And finally, for the onions we will have to wait a little longer, hopefully I will be able to harvest the first ones in mid-spring. The truth is that being able to grow the food that you take home, that work with your hands, with the soil... is something very gratifying that I would definitely recommend to anyone.
