Levantarse temprano y marchar al campo a trabajar un rato la tierra. Cultivar la propia comida, ¡qué gran satisfacción! Este que veis aquí es un trocito del huerto que este año estamos cuidando mi padre y yo, un sembrado de patatas que comenzamos el pasado mes de Noviembre y que hemos ido ampliando de forma escalonada. Primero tres kilos, luego otros dos, después cuatro más... diría que dentro de poco más de un mes podremos cosechar las primeras. Hay que llenar la despensa en casa lo mejor que se pueda y una buena forma, a mi parecer, es tratar de hacerlo con productos lo más naturales posibles.

Getting up early and going to the fields to work the land for a while. Growing one's own food, what a great satisfaction! This one you see here is a little piece of the garden that my father and I are tending this year, a potato patch that we started last November and that we have been expanding in stages. First three kilos, then another two, then four more... I would say that in a little over a month we will be able to harvest the first ones. We have to stock the larder at home as best we can and a good way in my opinion is try to do it with products that are as natural as possible.
