Nice work here and I agree with you. There's a Zulu maxim that says Umuntu ngubuntu ngabantu which means that a person is not a person until he or she is made through socialisation. We all know that socialisation starts from the family. To me the family is the beginning and the end of socialisation, while others are in the middle. This is because a person is born into a family (beginning point of socialisation), grows in the family before knowing how to do other things. The society becomes the middle ground (where through schools, work and outings) and later die and is brought back to the family. The only area that family can be questioned is when there's no unity among family members and when there's high level of competition that's attracts envy.
