Thanks for the report and great pics. I'm a little bit jealous, I've always wanted to visit the Hermitage. Hopefully one day I will visit this great museum.
ps I hope you don't mind me asking: did you visit any of the palaces in St. Petersburg or the war memorials from the siege during WW2
