Thanks for the review of a film I've not heard of. Tito may have been a dictator but he was much loved. After he died I recall seeing footage of his coffin being taken all around Yugoslavia by train and mass crowds turned out to greet the train . Tito was a little different to most dictators of the Stalinist era in that he helped liberate his own country from German fascism. Tito's partisans pushed the Germans out of the country without the Red Army's help. I have a little soft spot for Tito as he was a great film buff. I saw a fascinating documentary which interviewed the projectionist in Tito's private cinema. He said that every night after dinner Tito would watch at least one film. His passion for film led to Tito funding the Yugoslav film industry. He even allowed Hollywood to film in the country.
