I knew a guy many years ago who lived off-grid and I thought he was rather strange. At the time I was raising a family, paying a mortgage, climbing a career ladder. Now I appreciate his way of life a lot more as I watch the technocratic state they are busy building to control us. I think this is a decade where we will see falling living standards in the West and I strongly suspect that we will all need a lot more community support to get by.
