The United States by the metrics set out by the Bush administration after the invasion in 2001 has failed leaving its image in tatters. Trillions of dollars have been wasted which could have been used to repair America's crumbling infrastructure, house the half a million homeless people. I could go on. Billions of dollars worth of military equipment has been left behind for the Taliban to use. Never mind the massive death toll of over 150,000 people dead.
I have to say you employ a strange and rather perverse logic for claiming the US occupation was successful. The US committed numerous war crimes which were revealed by WikiLeaks hence its persecution of award winning journalist Julian Assange.
Finally, any conflict with China would go nuclear very quickly and cause the death of all humanity. Better dead than red right?
