Quickly scanning the news headlines today I came across this -

The Guardian newspaper is the flag ship of the climate changers it even has a sub heading entitled climate crisis.
The article talks about “heat-vulnerable neighbourhoods” of which they’ve identified over 15,500 in England. This is defined by neighbourhoods that have “prolonged periods of very hot weather”.
This is further defined as temperatures of over 27.5C/81.5F for 5 days (or more). I’ll wait for those of you living in other places to stop laughing.
For those of you living elsewhere it is true that 5 days of such lovely weather is now a climate crisis in the UK. We hate the cold miserable weather but then, when out of the blue, we get a short burst of good weather we do like to moan about how hot it is.
Apparently;
[these are] conditions which are becoming more common amid climate breakdown.
The article identifies groups of people who could be impacted – under 5’s, elderly, diabled, people with diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure which in some cases “can be life threatening”.
In a court case Friends of the Earth are putting pressure on the new Labour Government to introduce more measures to protect people from “foreseeable impacts of climate breakdown”. A Labour Party rich in donations from “green” companies to a man (PM Kier Starmer) just back from Davos.

It is undoubtedly the case in the UK though, that the number of vulnerable people who die each year from cold far, far outnumbers the numbers that die from heat related causes.
Over the years I’ve swallowed a lot of dogma from the mainstream. Most of us were educated in the state system and were inculcated with the culture and ideology of the times. As you grow older it is necessary to challenge your thinking about all things, one of the hardest things to do because it leaves you unsure about, well, everything. Better to have an open mind and accept that there are probably cherished beliefs that just aren’t accurate.
I didn’t question 9/11. I believed in over population. I believed in anthropomorphic climate change.
Now everyone I know (personally that is), believes in the whole global warming/climate change scenario. We have it pumped into us in such a consistent fashion it must be true. People understandably felt that way during Covid. However, witnessing the propaganda in such crude action has opened many eyes. Now is the time to challenge a central ideology of the ruling elites belief system.
I’m not getting into the science, I’m not qualified. However, language like “climate denier” is a red flag to me that one side is having to rely on emotive language to make their point.
The ruling elites who push the idea of global warming talk the talk but they do not walk the walk. Whilst rich elites and celebrities lecture us little people about our carbon footprint – they have numerous private jets and yachts. Just these forms of transport alone in a year will have a bigger carbon footprint than your entire life will.
Global warming is styled as anthropomorphic – ie it is driven by human behaviour. This is is essentially known as “carbon footprint”. The rich make up for theirs by off setting – ie paying money. Thus allowing the rich to live the life they want without having to consider their impact on the world. Again it is us little people who are constantly under the microscope being urged to cut back on our standard of living.
However, where does this idea come from that it is carbon that is causing global warming. I’ll tell you – useless computer models. Crap in, crap out. Rich people can afford to fund any study they like which invariavly produces the results they like. They fund think tanks and present their cases to world leaders at events like Davos. It feeds down into universities and from them into schools via teachers fresh from university.
Of course the climate is changing. It is all the time. It’s a complex system that requires not only complex modelling but an understanding that complex interactions occur constantly.
Geological discoveries have proven that this planet has experienced very quick (15 years) sudden changes to the cold side. That our planet has swung from one to the other and continues to do so. Geologically speaking we are due the next ice age – but we are talking of a million year timeline – so predicting it will happen by Friday isn’t possible,
Meanwhile I am now old enough to have lived through a number of apocryphal tipping points.
In Europe about 12,000 BC we came out of the last ice age and the climate improved to produce a steady period of warm weather. Agriculture and animal domestication bloomed. This may not have been humans first developments as Gobleki Tepe indicates pre-ice age people came to assist the survivors of the flooding that accompanied the ending of the ice age.
Immigration across Europe reached my own country – known to be a bit grey and miserable. There are records thought that in the early middle ages grapes were grown and England had a booming wine industry.
Yet, in the later middle ages we entered what is historically referred to as the mini-ice age. See paintings by Bruegel for example. Famously this is exemplified by the freezing of the River Thames. Beginning about 1400, reaching a peak in the 17th century until the last time in around 1850.
Yet we are now to believe that due to industrialisation and the burning of fossil fuels our climate is heating up at a dangerous and unprecedented level.
I’m not sure.
Have we damaged the earth by pollution? Yep. Pesticides and herbicides? Yep. The encroachment of wild spaces driving animals from habitats? Yep. After these big three a warming climate is nothing. We have lived on a warmer planet before and we are a very resourceful species.
I do know that the elites believe their own Kool Aid. Whilst you can put carbon off setting on your tax return and badger the little people to do something. This doesn’t challenge their immense role in polluting, promotion of killer poisons and just in general keeping any reason for major challenge to corporate behaviour beyond minor tinkering.
I could be wrong.
I am aware that this belief has saturated the military and US government. Do you really think, believing the planet is doomed from global warming, that they have sat back and done nothing?
No, their programmes such as solar management can all be found online. In interfering with the weather to prevent a carbon driven planet emergency they may well end up creating one.
The reality is we don’t even fully understand the Sun and it’s impact on the planet and it’s weather system. We may look aghast at the North Pole melting but are we positive the earth isn’t clever enough to combat this by herself. Our interventions could potentially create a mass of problems.
So next time you hear doom laden propaganda accept that what you hear might not be accurate. In history most societies held beliefs mocked by later societies with increased knowledge.
