This is a banana spider but it is not only found in banana plants. They are literally all over the place in Costa Rica! It is technically poisonous BUT its mouth is too small to be able to bite onto a person so in reality they are little danger to us. I still wouldn't mess with one though, lol. As spiders go I would consider it one of the prettiest I have seen and their webs are so incredibly gold coloured , they are quite magical.
