Happy Sunday everyone!
There is such joy, adrenaline, stillness and unabashed wonderment in the photographing of birds..... the wait.... taking the time to sit still and silently awaiting a feathered friend to pop into your field of vision.
The adrenaline rush when on spotting one you have to get up close and quickly before the opportunity passes.
The wonderment when you realise this is not one you recognise and you are capturing it for the first time!
Then it is gone. We return to stillness and wait once more, not daring to check back through the photos you just got for fear of missing a new moment, just about to happen.
