This section explains how to register an account for those who want to start playing Splinterlands now. Trial play is available with a free registered account. Free accounts cannot hold DEC and SPS, but can purchase Credit to rent or buy cards.
New account holders should also install HiveKeyChain, a tool used by Splinterlands and many of the other games and DEXs (decentralized exchanges) on the HIVE blockchain. We highly recommend installing it for both convenience and security.
