I am at Woodside Lake in Benfleet, Essex.
It is about to be under new management, I was told by someone working for the council looking after the lake, soon it will be a day ticket lake and not free. The people taking on the leasehold for the lake have done some work to it & I have been told are planning on doing further works including digging out swims.
Providing they don't charge too much I will be ok with it. Although it would off been nice for the council to not lease the lake out and keep it in the public domain for the community to use.
Haven't been to this lake in years so I'm scoping it out before I go fish there.
