여행일기는 일단 중지하고 영어공부를 다시 시작합니다.
다음에 해외에 나가면 보다 자유로움을 줄 수 있는 도구 중의 하나인 영어를 좀 더 잘 구사했으면 해서요^^

영어는 우리말이 아닙니다.
따라서 영어를 우리의 사고방식이 전개되는 방향으로 보면 참 어색합니다.
그러나 그것에 익숙해지는게 그들의 언어에 접근하는 방식이겠지요?

그래서 지금 공부하는 방법은 그들의 언어를 그냥 그대로, 우리말 식이 아닌 그대로 받아들이는 연습입니다.
어색하고 이해하는데 조금 시간이 걸리겠지만 차차 어색함이 없어지며 바로 바로 이해될꺼라 생각합니다.^^

America's private space program made another giant leap today.

The roar of its 27 engines matched only by the crowd.
But the show in the sky wasn't over.
The rocket's boosters detached.
And minutes later two of them could be seen descending back to Earth
landing in tandem near the launch site while the payload - a Tesla Roadster with a dummy named "Starman" -
hurtled away from Earth and toward the orbit of Mars to the sounds of what else David Bowie's "Life on Mars".

Both goals of the US government and missions Musk is eager to leave his mark on and his brand.
But the mission is not over yet.
The final phase of the rocket involves firing the engines one more time in order to thrust the car and Starman
toward their intended orbit.
