Galah prawns are a type of shrimp that belongs to the Macrobrachium rosenbergii species. Prawns generally live in freshwater waters. Characteristic of giant prawns are conical heads, restrum widened at the end, the shape of the prawns lengthwise and curved upward. At the top of the giant prawns there are teeth like saws of twelve pieces and the bottom of eleven pieces. Male prawns usually have large and strong body features and have large claws and long bodies.
