Fanart of Cocatrice From Splinterlands

Hello guys, Hope you all are doing well. I'm back in this community after several days with fanart of a new Splinterland character. It was quite foggy in the morning, but now the sun has come out a little.

Some of you may know that last time I made fanart of the Haunted Spider and she was very dangerous. I made it very hard so it turned out quite realistic and you all appreciated my drawing, I got a lot of motivation after reading so many nice comments. As you might have guessed from the title, Today I have made a new character from Splinterlands. Hope you like my drawing. Let's start with the procedure.

When I woke up this morning, the sky was covered with fog. I decided that I will not make a drawing today because I like to sit in the sunshine and draw. After breakfast, when I saw that the fog was disappearing and the day was getting bright, I checked the weather conditions on the Internet and found that the sun will come out.

When I was visiting Splinterlands original card website and looking for an easy character, I saw this character from the Beta characters that was hard but I liked the colors, so I chose this character. After selecting the character I gathered all the things to sketch it. Before sketching I was wondering if I could make a good sketch of it because it was quite complicated.

First I started sketching his face including his eyes and beak and it was very difficult. Then I sketched the wings which were easy. It took me the most time to sketch her fingers because they were quite difficult. Finally I sketched his tail. After completing the sketch I was looking at it and feeling proud of myself that I had made a good sketch. I made this sketch in about an hour because it was quite difficult but I succeeded.

After completing the sketch I took a short break to rest my eyes and then after about 10 minutes I started the coloring process. First I filled the red color on his head and orange on his beak. I tried to fill the character with the same colors as in the original picture. I gave his tongue purple color and all his nails black color.

Now I added brown color to the hairs. I tried my best to fill the colors with subtlety so that the character look attractive and neat. I have a lot of fun making every drawing and creativity I do and I had a lot of fun making this character because my day goes well.

Now I filled her eye with yellow color as in the original picture. His face and wings make him dangerous and I tried my best to design a good character to look dangerous. By the time I was adding brown color to her hair, the sun was fully out, but the heat wasn't felt. This sunlight is enough for me because I am tired of daily fog.

After filling her wings with a brown color I started to fill her stomach with a parrot color. I have used marker colors in this drawing because they look quite attractive. I knew these colors would be good to make this character look dangerous and attractive.

Now I filled the green and parrot color in her fingers and wings. I like the hair color in this drawing the most. This character was quite time consuming but I had a lot of fun making it. I try to make all my drawings neat that's why drawings look attractive.

After filling all the colors in this character I outlined with black pointer so that his body parts are visible and after doing black pointer it started to look more dangerous. I completed this drawing in about two hours and had fun making it. Hope you like my drawing. I will be waiting for your feedback.
