In spite of how warm and wonderful the summer sun seems, I am always surrounded by self-created darkness. With shades lowered and curtains closed, I make myself an underground world where the brightness is not tolerated. And still beauty somehow finds its way in. In the form of tree shadows dancing on the windowpane, creating a living, transient piece of art.
It's never just one image that repeats itself. It changes and moves along with the slightest wind, playing its dance of light and shade. I am always amazed and compelled to take a picture, trying to preserve the beauty in a form of the summer sun's masterpiece. A perfect illustration that sometimes beauty can't be found in anything extraordinary. Sometimes, it hides in the most subtle interactions between various components and waits to be discovered.
