... (our Christmas elf)....Christmas is always the time for me to pause. I hold on to our family tradition of decorating the Christmas tree alone and showing it to the children afterwards as a present. To build up the excitement and joy for the children and to see their shining eyes is the greatest thing for me馃槏. When i was a child, my mother and i always went to church on Christmas Eve and sometimes i did it with my children. Before the 1st Advent i always start to decorate the house and the garden. Biscuits are backed and almonds are burned in a weekly rhythm. During baking, Christmas music is playing and i get excited for Christmas Eve.....when my loved ones visit me and find it cosy and beautiful, my heart opens...For me Christmas stands for family. Over and over again!
