I had a very productive day, and am extremely happy and excited. I initially went to the community college to duscuss the possibility of returning, but was greeted with the information that it would be easier to talk to an advisor after applying for admissions. So, I went ahead and did that. After I was given my student ID number, since it was one of the testing center days at that campus, I went ahead and knocked out the placement test - and scored so highly that the advisor actually thanked me.
Long story short, the only thing I have to wait on now is fafsa, and then I will be enrolling in classes.
This is a double win for me. It means I can finally ACTUALLY get an education, and it means I have a valid reason to give my current boss the finger and get the hell out.
